Should companies rethink their SEO approach with Bing’s popularity
The search engine optimization strategies of most website owners are based on the market leader Google. Now, they have to alter their SEO strategies as Bing, the search engine, has started gaining grounds on the search giant Google.

Google though is still the marketing leader drawing 63.7% of searches in US. However, Yahoo and Bing are drawing 18.3% and 12.1% of searches respectively. The use of Bing search engine grew up to 70% last year in US and its popularity still continues to grow.

One main catalyst behind Bing’s popularity is their partnership with Yahoo. Microsoft had made an important decision to partner with Yahoo and integrate its search technology and AdCenter search engine marketing into Yahoo’s by the end of the year. This big decision has posed a significant threat to Google.

Bing has invested a lot of effort to improve their search algorithm and the quality of search results for their users. With the popularity, it seems in the near future a Bing centric search engine marketing strategy would be profitable for a website. They should start paying attention to Google’s new challenger now if they want to be on top at the most powerful search engine.
